We have two special guests joining us on hospitality for Saturday’s League One fixture at home to Leyton Orient, including a former County midfielder with over 150 appearances for the club and a European Boxing Champion.
After two wins from two, County go into Saturday as the early leaders in League One, looking to continue our perfect start to the league campaign back at a packed Edgeley Park.
Our game against The O’s will see the last two League Two Champions go head-to-head at Edgeley Park, with County looking to extend their unbeaten start to the league season.
Joining us on the day at Edgeley Park will be our former midfielder, Terry Park (SCAN 811), who first joined the Club from Blackpool in 1976, going on to make 181 appearances for County over two spells, scoring 21 times in all competitions.
Over the course of his career, Terry also spent time playing in the USA with Fort Lauderdale Strikers and Minnesota Kicks, as well spending time on loan at Manchester City.
Also there on Saturday will be Stockport-based, European and Commonwealth Cruiserweight Champion, Jack Massey, who’s coming down to support his local side.
Jack won the European title back in June, defeating Isaac Chamberlain at Selhurst Park to leave him with a current career record of 22-2. The 31-year-old will be travelling to Saudi Arabia next month, to challenge IBF Cruiserweight World Champion, Jai Opetaia on Saturday 12th October, and everyone at Stockport County will be rooting for him as he looks to bring the title back to Stockport.
Terry and Jack will be in the 1883 taking part in a Q&A session with Steve Bellis ahead of the game, giving you the opportunity to hear more about their careers, whilst sampling our matchday hospitality experience at the same time.
