The Club can confirm that striker, Jack Stretton has joined National League outfit Oldham Athletic on a loan deal until January.
The move signals the next step for Jack as he continues his recovery from a long-term injury that kept him out for the entirety of last season. The 23-year-old marked his return to first-team action in style earlier this month, scoring twice in our 4-1 win at Accrington Stanley in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, and will now look to build his game time between now and January.
The forward has made 25 appearances for County across two spells, initially joining the Club on loan before signing permanently from Derby County in January 2023. Stretts has scored eight goals in that time, including a memorable, crucial header in our play-off semi-final victory over Salford City in 2023.
He now joins an Oldham side currently sat 6th in the National League, as they bid to return to the Football League at the third attempt.
