The Club can now confirm our scheduled pre-season fixtures ahead of the 2021/22 National League season, as we take on a combination of non-league and U23s sides.
Simon Rusk’s first pre-season as County manager will begin on Wednesday 21st July, with a trip to take on Northern Premier League side Ashton United at Hurst Cross Stadium.
We then travel down south to take on the manager’s former side Brighton U23s, in a behind closed doors friendly, before facing National League North Curzon Ashton at the Tameside Stadium, on Saturday 31st July.
Returning to home comforts, we will host Manchester City U23s under the floodlights at Edgeley Park on Monday 2nd August, before visiting another National League North side in the form of Guiseley AFC.
On Tuesday 10th August, we take on Burnley U23s away from home in another game to be played behind closed doors, before our final pre-season game sees us host a Fleetwood Town XI at Edgeley Park.
