Lemonheigh Evans to move on

The club can confirm that Connor Lemonheigh Evans will leave the club following the end of his contract in order to complete a move elsewhere.

Both parties remained in dialogue over the summer regarding a new contract, but were unable to come to a satisfactory agreement.

Connor leaves Edgeley Park having made 54 appearances for the club across two seasons, having joined on a free transfer from Torquay United in 2022. The Welshman was recalled from his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon in January and was a big part of our success in the second half of the season, scoring six times to help secure our first EFL title in 57 years.

We thank Connor for his efforts during his time at County, with his contribution this season ensuring he will always be remembered fondly as a title winner at Edgeley Park.
