Stockport County’s annual golf day event was held at Hazel Grove Golf Club recently, with the proceeds raising over £10,000 for the County Community Trust.
This year’s event saw former players and sponsors go head to head on the golf course, with title-winners Sam Minihan, Jordan Keane and Jamie Stott all taking part, before a live Q&A session at the Golf Club featuring Club President, Steve Bellis and former players, Mike Flynn and Paul Jones.
Congratulations to Rainbow Restoration, who were our winners on the day, and thank you to all the sponsors who took part and contributed to the money raised on the day.
A special thank you goes out to MTX, who generously sponsored the event for the second year running and helped us to make it a special day for everyone involved.
The money raised through this event will go towards the Community Trust’s free summer holiday provision programme, County Camps, which helps to provide holiday activities and food to those families in Stockport that need it the most.
