Stockport County is delighted to announce that its Grassroots Football Fund will benefit a total of twenty-three junior football teams during the 2024-25 season.
Now in its second year, the £50,000 fund was established to support male and female sides based in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, the aim being to help them prepare for the upcoming season and provide the best possible footballing experience for boys and girls. The current round of funding has seen successful applicants receiving up to £1,500 to help with their running costs, which may cover expenditures such as new kits, pitch hire and club events.

- Stockport Villa FC

- Stockport Dynamoes FC
- JFC Phoenix
- Reddish Vulcans JFC
- Stockport Cosmos JFC
- Richmond Rovers JFC
- Lostock Rangers JFC
- Bramhall North JFC
- Inter Cheadle JFC
- Marple Athletic JFC
- Offerton Park JFC
- Great Moor JFC
- Stockport Vikings JFC
Alongside this investment, all successful applicants will also be able to take part in the summer 2025 Festival of Grassroots Football, which will invite teams to compete against each other. The knock-out competition will involve finalists from each age group battling it out on the Edgeley Park pitch.
