Defender Jamie Stott spoke of his excitement at returning to Edgeley Park, in his first interview since signing permanently for the Club over the Summer.
Speaking after training at the Club’s new training ground in Carrington, the former Oldham man said he ‘couldn’t be happier’ after getting the deal over the line, and was looking forward to playing in front of County supporters again.
He spoke with excitement at the chance to work with Jim again following his previous loan spells at the Club, as well as the chance to play alongside Ash Palmer once again in defence, with the two enjoying great success together during our title winning campaign.
With just over seven weeks to go until the new season is scheduled to start, Jamie went into detail about the expectations going into the new season, and how he expected the team to deal with the pressure throughout the campaign.
